Staring in engine ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+ or data bus powertrain, implausible message from immobilizer is the final reason of the code. |
18948 Possible Causes:
18948 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18948 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
