When you open bank 1, system too lean off idle to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open you can see the supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
18948 Possible Causes:
18948 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 18948 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
