Diameter in engine pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit also turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18723 Possible Causes:
18723 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18723 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
