This code were stamped on VW Engine case valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open . So for next nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
18118 Possible Causes:
18118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 18118 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
