18051 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so transmission ratio, implausible run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 or ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18051 Possible Causes:
18051 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18051 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
