This code were stamped on VW Engine case linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground and o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
18051 Possible Causes:
18051 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18051 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
