When you open fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 5 above knock threshold you can see the relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
15888 Possible Causes:
15888 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15888 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
