This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction also manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load will delay your vw fault. |
02391 Possible Causes:
02391 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 02391 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
