This code were stamped on VW Engine case load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
02309 Possible Causes:
02309 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02309 Code
- Inspect all the connections actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
