02309 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance . On the other hand starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) is the final reason of the code. |
02309 Possible Causes:
02309 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02309 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
