02197 Description And Summary : |

When you open reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injection pump, fuel calibration not learned . So for next 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
02197 Possible Causes:
02197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02197 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
